Seeking information on Catherine Anderson, b. ca. 1778 who m. Joseph Ector ca. 1796. Catherine was a dau. of John Anderson (1741-1821) and his wife Catherine Scott, dau. of John Scott of Lunenburg Co., VA; they were m. ca. 1760. John Anderson's first wife was Malissa Murray. Does anyone have evidence that Joseph Ector died young, and that Catherine Anderson Ector then m. John Scott, b. 1780 NC? Joseph Ector's brother m. Jennie Anderson, Catherine's sister. The Andersons lived in the Stoney Creek area of Caswell Co. Any info on these families greatly appreciated. Thanks! KRB
