My 5G Grandmother was Elizabeth Mitchell b NC. She married John Russell b 1784/9 (son of William Russell b 1751) of Rockingham, NC. about 1807. Their first four children were all born in NC. Samuel b 1808, Sarah b 1809j, Charles, b 1810, and William b 1812. They then migrated to southern Indiana where the other 5 of their children were born.

Try as I may I have never found the marriage of John and Elizabeth nor the Mitchell family she belongs to. I thought I would try Caswell County. Would you have any clues or advice?
