Samuel Hill of Rockingham County was a Private in the Revolution. He enlisted in Fairfax, Va.. Another Hill researcher said that he was given the name of Mary Wilmouth as Samuel's wife, Does anyone have any information about a Mary Wilmouth?
Dee: Do you have any such marriage? Are you in Caswell, County. She is not in the book I have.
Since many of my ancestors were from Caswell county, I have the book "A History of Caswell County 1777-1977" by Wm. S. Powell and Caswell Co. marriage Bond s by Kendall & Donaldson and Historical Abstracts of Minutes 1777-1877 - 2 volumes by Kendall.
I, too, will lok up for anyone.
Bob Graham
