Sorry for the delay. NO I do not have any of the persons named in your request. I look forward to receiving your printout of the marriages in Caswell of COBB's. I failed to ask if you also have the Orange Co. records because Caswell came from Orange?
I am especially looking for a marriage between Samuel Cobb and unknown about 1755-1759. Samuel Cobb and she left Orange/Caswell Co in about 1765 and moved on to the Old Ninety Six District of SC. This wife along with a daughter were killed in an Indian Raid known at the Austin Raid in the fall of 1769. The Cobb farm was two farms removed from the Austin farm. Many settlers lost spouses and children in this raid.
