Yes, this is the Abner Bell and Abner Bell II that I am looking for. I show the same children and siblings. My grandfather was Dr. Abner Norman Evans, a Methodist pastor, and his father was Rufus Bell Evans, and thanks goodness this was information I grew up knowing.

I only had the Jane Shepard wife as having all the children, so glad to know about the dying wives. The Fanny name got carried on, too, by Cordelia Bell Evans when she named one of her daughters, Fanny, and then her son Rufus named one of his daughters that died in infancy, Fanny.
