I am not a descendant of Loftin Quinn (or any other Quinn), but can provide you with the following information plus the descendants of Abner, if you are interested.

LOFTIN QUINN                      Proved Feb. Court 1766
       I, Loftin Quinn, being of sound mind, do ordain this to be my last will I give to my wife Mary Quinn, formerly Mary Canady, my lands and house during her widowhood and then to my sons William and Thomas Bequest to daughter Margarett of bed and furniture and cow and calf.

READ THE PETITION OF LAUGHLIN QUINN, SETTING FORTH THAT HE HATH BEEN AN INHABITANT OF THIS COUNTY THIRTY ODD YEARS AND HAVE PAID HIS TAXES IN THE SAID COUNTY EVER SINCE AND NEW HAVE ARRIVED TO THE AGE OF SIXTY YEARS, AND UNABLE TO SUPPORT HIMSELF AND FAMILY AND PAY HIS TAXES. PRAYS THE COURT TO REPRESENT THE SAME TO THE ASSEMBLY, ORDER THAT THE CLERK MAKE A COPY OF THE SAME TO SENT TO ASSEMBLY.
