A much needed book on the cemeteries of Camden County is now in the making. Gloria Wesner of Taylor's Beach, Camden, NC is currently compiling information for her book on Camden County cemeteries. If you know of any cemetery that has never been recorded, cannot be easily reached, cannot be easily found, or is no longer in existence, please contact Gloria at glogonc1@gibralter.com. It is very important that she accomplish this task. I have visited cemeteries this winter that are missing tombstones that were there just three short years ago. Many of our area's history is being neglected or plowed under. Gloria is taking this project very serious and we hope that you will too.
