I've been pondering your post about William, Stephen, Jordan and Mary. One certain thing, in the Piercy family, there is nothing certain. It would not be unheard of for an uncle to father a child with a niece, yucky, but not unheard of.
There are 2 direct males from Jordan's son Hosea. Hosea had one son John Monroe Piercy who had several sons. One son Grier had a son Charles who had 2 sons. They are my 3rd cousins. I haven't seen the youngest since my brother's marriage 23 years ago and I've never met his older brother. But they are directly descended and carry the Piercy name. Something to think about.
