I show the 17 yr. old girl as Elenor "Ellen" Clarissa Tipton (dau. of Wilburn Tipton and Nancy Brinkley). Girl was born 31-MAR-1853 in Hickory, Catawba, NC. First husband was Michael "Mack" P. Brinkley, one child (Melissa). 2nd husband was John Franklin Hamby, marriage date 26-FEB-1886. At least 4 children with the 2nd husband. Wilburn's parents were David & Ellen Patterson. Hope this helps.
