Hi,
Sorry that it took me so long to get back to you, I recently moved and have been very busy. Also, my Dad, StepMom, and Father-in-law all passed away in the last 2 months.
I would love to have one of my brothers tested for the Native American bloodline. I will ask one of them and see if they are willing to do it. Also, thanks for the Jerimiah Helton info. I just wish I could find Joel Helton's place of burial because an aquaintance of mine wants to see that he and all others who served in the Civil War, gets a VA headstone. This man has worked hard to see that many of the CW vets got those headstones placed on their graves. Do you by chance, have any idea of where Joel Helton may be buried? And yes, I am a big research nut when it comes to my ancestors. I have worked on the Heltons for years and will continue to do so until I can gain all info possible. I want to pass it on down to my Grandchildren one day. Thanks for your help.
JS Reid
