Good news & bad news

While I am not sure this is the same cemetery, I found a web site that has a picture of five graves that appear to be all that is left of it. I am guessing, and don't know for a fact, but it looks like the cemetery may have been flooded when Lake Hickory was built in 1927. The good news....for that the five remaining graves all appear to be Sherrills....and the site where I found the picture appears to be an incredible resource on Sherrill family history!

I wrote to the fellow... I presume he's a cousin of yours... asking if he could tell me anything about the cemetery.
