Hello Mr. Doug Rader,

My name is Michael J. Pennell and I am from Caldwell County, NC. I would like to personally "THANK YOU" for your generosity in finding the Caldwell County records that were once lost. I read the article and saw your picture in the Sunday, November 26, 2005 edition of Lenoir's "News-Topic" newspaper. It was a very nice article and interview that you gave to the "News-Topic" staff. If it hadn't been for your generosity, then future generations would have never known that these old records ever existed. I know everyone in Caldwell County will be excited when they read your amazing true story. Thank you again for all of your hard work, true dedication and generous help in locating these treasurable documents from Caldwell County's past.
