I believe we have hit a road block with the Bean/Palmer families. It appears some interesting things happen back in that day.
Catherine Palmer, must have beena 'tough lady' in her day.
Found on the 1900 Caldwell Co., Lower Creek Twp, f125 - d 125

John R? Bean, b, Aug 1846. age 53,single.,
Catherine. b, March 1813 , age 87 (I think) single, had 6 children & 5 living.

I have two of the Caldwell Co. cemetery books (Books I & II) Book I has a Bean family cemetery...... not any of my Bean family.
Book II has a 'Harper Chapel' Cemetery and found Margaret Jane (Bean) Austin listed there. This 'Harper Chapel' is located near Patterson, which, I believe is north of Lenoir.
Perhaps this is where Mother (Margaret Bean) could be buried
Need any thing about John & Margaret (____) Bean
Have to keep searching.

Mary C.
