I think I have seen deeds in Cabarrus for the lands of McCommon in Bedford TN. And yes, I spent a good deal of time reading deeds, drawing the plats by hand, and putting them into format that could be placed on the net.

So many had abstracted deeds straight from the books. I wanted to see the land, who lived around a particular tract, and how that land changed over time. It was a fun exercise.
