The location of the property you describe is very close to the former location of Cold Water Church. This church was originally a German Reformed church but Lutherans also attended. The church building no longer exists but there is a very old cemetery still nearby. The cemetery is called Cold Water Lutheran Cemetery. According to a list of graves, there was a Jacob Koch, d. 1799, age 77, buried in the cemetery (no headstone), but nothing on Nicholas Koch (Cook)
