McAnulty, Rogers, Loudermilk connections

Joseph Rogers married Jane Lenora McAnulty Dec. 3, 1828 Cabarrus co. NC, bondsman John W. Rogers.

A McAnulty researcher has Joseph and Jane with children William Moses, Margaret Susan, and Joseph Carson. Jane then married Jacob Lowdermilk in Tenn., moving to Miss. and having several more children.

The 1830 Hardeman co. TN census has Jacob Loudermilk age 40 to 50 with a female age 30 to 40 and several children. Several of Jane's siblings and some of the Rogers moved to Hardeman county.

Based on the ages of the three oldest children in the 1850 census Jospeph and Jane did not leave North Carolina until after 1834 when the youngest was born.

Jacob Loudermilk married Jane "S" Rodgers Oct. 23, 1838 Hardeman co. TN.

The 1840 Marshall co. MS census has Jacob Loudermilk age 50 to 60 with oldest female age 30 to 40 and a large number of other household members.

The 1850 Tippah co. MS census has Jacob Laudermilk age 60, Jane age 43, William age 21, Margaret S. age 19, Joseph age 16 all born in NC, Eliza N age 12, Caroline age 10, Hannah C. age 7, Stephen J age 5 all have MS as birth state. All have Loudermilk surname.

The 1860 Tippah co. MS census has Jacob Loudermilk age 70, Jane L. age 50 both born NC, Eliza age 20, Hanah age 15, Stephen J age 14 all born MS. I have not found the three oldest children from the 1850 census.

Lookiing for information on these three Rogers children. I suspect that Joseph Rogers was the son of Moses Rogers of Cabarrus co. NC.
