True, it is all speculation. It just seems that the cemetery does not have marked or old unmarked graves that would reflect the early church history.
James Little was a member of Meadow Creek up until he moved into southwest Stanly. In a land grant entered in the early 1790's on Meadow Creek, one of the lines of James Little's grant land entry crossed the creek at "The baptism hole." the approximate location of this line can be found at my site: http://www.angelfire.com/nc/benjthomasofansonnc/northeastmap.html
