Sorry, I didn't realize you wanted prior generations. I believe that the parents of your David Hurlocker were named David and Catharine.
1860 US Federal census, Cabarrus Co., Subdivision East of NC RR:
Momoe Horlocker, 29, male, day laborer, b. NC
Lindia Horlocker, 24, wife, b. NC
Thomas J. Horlocker, 6, b. NC
Nancy C. Horlocker, 4, b. NC
Moses F. Horlocker, 1, b. NC
Ed Horlocker, 38, farmer, b. NC
Susan Horlocker, 25, b. NC
Laura E. Horlocker, 5 months, b. NC
DAVID HORLOCKER SEN., male, age 65, b. NC
Catharine Horlocker, 64, wife, b. NC
David Horlocker Jun., 27, farm hand, b. NC**
**I believe this to be your David Hurlocker who married Jane. His parents, then, would be David Sr. and Catharine.
It was quite common for census takers to spell the surnames incorrectly, but I'm fairly confident this is your family. The informant on George's death cert said his parents were born in Cabarrus County, and I believe they remained in this area from early generations. Here is what else I find:
David Hurlocker married Catharine Mayer 20 May 1819 in Cabarrus County, NC.
David Hurlocker (Senior?) served in the Confederate Army in the Civil War, Company B, 7th NC Infantry.
In the 1850 census for Cabarrus County, NC, they are enumerated as HOLLACHER:
1850, Cabarrus Co., NC, enumerated 22 November, dwelling 1265:
David Hollacher, 57, farmer, value personal $500, b. NC
Catharine Hollacher, 56, wife, b. NC
Edmond Hollacher, 29, b. NC
Leah Hollacher, 21, b. NC
Minro (Minio? Is this Momoe?) Hollacher, male, 19, b. NC
David Hollacher, 17, b. NC
Margaret Hollacher, 16, b. NC
C. E. Hollacher, female, 12, b. NC
Moses Hollacher, male, 10, b. NC
Edmund Herlocker married Susan Criscoe, 17 Jan 1860 in Cabarrus Co. (If this is David's brother, he would have been about age 39 when he married Susan.)
Moses Hurlocker married Eve Murlocker (Could this be Hurlocker, and she was distantly related to him?) on 1 Sep 1866 in Cabarrus Co.
Leah Hurlocker married Henry Dry, 6 January 1850 in Cabarrus Co.
Margaret Hurllocker married Thomas Motley in Cabarrus Co. on 20 Nov 1852.
NOW I WILL TELL YOU that there were two or more David Hurlocker (various spellings) in Cabarrus Co., and another researcher at Ancestry.com has in their tree that David Hurlocker, son of David and Catharine Hurlocker, married Elizabeth Little. I don't find those records or any indication of that, but I'll leave it to you to prove or disprove, ok? :)
