Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Dear Shirley: Interestingly, I show that a
James McCracken m. Elizabeth Davidson of
Cabarrus Co. area. They had dau. Elizabeth
Davidson McCracken who m. James Sample Alexander. Their dau. Prudence Morrison Alexander, m. my 1st cuz of old, David Daniel
Shelby of Mecklenburg/Cabarrus Co. areas.

So, when you show James Russel child Cynthia
McCracken, could not help but wonder if she
might have m. into James and Elizabeth Davidson McCracken's family.

Also, David Daniel Shelby's sister Sarah
"Sallie" Shelby m. William Wilkins Duckworth
of Haywood Co., TN, and they had dau. June
(or Jane?) "Mollie" Duckworth who m. Clyde
Russell.

Any connection here? Regards, Mac Alexander.
