Johnston were listed in Cabarrus Co. Marriage Bonds, date Feb. 17, 1847. Census records show she was born Virginia, which is correct. (She was sister to my g.g. grandfather, Christopher Henry DeJournette). S. Johnston's will dated 21 Apr. 1873, probated 5 Jul 1879.
