If the Fisher mine was close to the Furr mine then it was probably south of MP in which case it would be in Twnship 8, 9 or 10. I am going to check more this week-end and will let you know. The Subdivision East of the RR covered almost everything east of Concord in Cabarrus Co.
Do you live in or near Cabarrus? If you can check out deeds in the Register of Deeds Office this might also help. These are also filed at the Archives in Raleigh.
