I have Lester G. Black, b. 8 Nov 1891, son of Joseph Colfax Black and Emma McClellan. Joseph C. Black was the son of Joseph Sedlee Black and Elizabeth Turner. Emma McClellan was the daughter of Joseph Ross McClellan and Margaret C. Long. Joseph R. McClellan was the son of Elias McClellan and Elizabeth McEachern.
I don't have anything on John Milton McClellan. Was the a son of Joseph and Margaret? I have children of Joseph and Margaret as Martha m. John Washington Carriker, Mary m. James Long and Emma m. Joseph C. Black. There are all kinds of connections between these families and several of my wife's lines which include Carriker, Black, McClellan, McEachern.
Would be happy to exchange info. Email me directly at
