Don,
I have some info about Julian Thayer family. I am not sure where he is buried but I would check the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Cemetery or the Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery both located in MP.
There are photographs of Julian and Charles at the Eastern Historical Museum in MP along with several of the Gin Saw Sharpening machines which Julian invented and patented.
Contact me at bcalla6711@aol.com and I will be glad to share more info.
Ben Callahan
