LOOKING FOR ANDREWS CONNECTION IN CABARRUS COUNTY
Posted by: WANDA ANDREWS (ID *****3117) Date: April 08, 2003 at 13:43:01

My ggg-grandfather Samuel Spratt married Nancy Andrews on March 13, 1806. Samuel was from the Rutherford / Burke County area. I am looking for Nancy's family. In the loose papers found with Samuel's will (Burke County) was a letter from Nancy's sister and brother-in-law (addressed to Samuel and Agnes). They mentioned they had not had any late word from Cabarrus. Mentioned that they wanted Samuel and sister Nancy to come down. The sister's name was Eliabeth and she married Samuel Martin on October 7, 1800 in Cabarrus County. This letter dated July 21, 1827, states they, the Martins, plan to sell and move next fall to Missouri. Does anyone know of this family?
