I was born and raise around Flowes Store Road and Zion Church road and I know that before 1970 that in the county we had what was called a Constable. I went to school with the one that was there in the area in the 1960's, I'll just say he was a Joyner and he and some of his brothers later became Sheriff Depeties. Hope this helps some of the people on this.
