Jamison 1790s NC

Looking for the parents of William Jamison born Feb. 6, 1799 Carbarrus Co., N.C. About 1825 he married Susan W. Steele born Aug. 16, 1804 Botetourt Co., VA. In 1826 he was living in MO. I believe he had at least 2 brothers John born about 1797 and Samuel born about 1810 both in NC. This belief is based on Lincoln Co. MO showing them living near one another and a document written by a Samuel L. Jamison a nephew of William Jamison, who lived with his uncle after his father died. I suspect the father of the three men was named Samuel or William . All three men had children named Samuel and two had sons named William. The 1800 NC census lists a Samuel Jamison living in Burke Co. NC with sons in appropriate age range. Finally there is the following Marriage bond record: Bride: Elizabeth Brown Groom: Samuel Jamison Bond Date: 23 Dec 1795 County: Cabarrus Record #: 01 102 Bondsman: Samuel X Brown Witness: John Simianer Bond #: 000008596. I donít know if these are the same Samuels or not, nor do I know if either are related to the William I am looking for. Any information would be appreciated. I am willing to share the information I have. Howard R. Watts. hrwatts@mindspring.com
