I notice one posting that mentioned EURY coming from G. Britain. They may be right, but what I have found possibly indicates the origin being Germany with the an original spelling of Eurich. They did come in through PA. The big problem in Germany is that we bombed many of our records trying to get rid of Hitler and many of the Parishes would not give you acccess (10 years ago). My major line runs back to Stanley and Montgomery Counties in N.C. I have found where a brother's name even changed from EURY to EURE, as that line seemed to head off in the direction of Charlotte.
