Mathias Barringer/Cabarrus Co. NC

I am trying to straighten out some confusing info on the BARRINGER family and would appreciate help from anyone can point
me in the right direction. I have a Cabarrus Co. NC deed dated 1832 selling land from John L. Barringer of Mecklenburg Co.
NC & Daniel Barringer of Baldwin Co. GA to Henry J. Barringer in Cabarrus Co. NC. This land is on Little Buffalo Creek
"bordering Mathias Barringer's old line" and George CULP. I have a deed dated 1792 in Cabarrus County by which "Mathias
Barringer and his wife, Barbara," sell land on Little Buffalo Creek to George CULP. This deed states that the land in question
was from a tract first granted to George Barringer, Sr. and then transferred to Mathias, "his only son."
Here are my questions:
Who was George Barringer, Sr.?
Was Mathias his only son? If the dates are correct, this could not be the same Mathias Barringer who married Barbara
RENTLEMAN in
Rowan Co. NC in 1801. Who then is Barbara?
Were the Daniel Barringer, John L. Barringer and Henry J. Barringer mentioned in the 1832 deed, sons of John Barringer, Sr.
(Son of George Barringer, Sr.)?. This John Barringer supposedly married Elizabeth Smith in Rowan Co. NC in 1796.
Any help will be appreciated!
