PICKENS, William (ca. 1740-1818)

Would like to hear from anyone researching PICKENS family of Mecklenburg and Cabarrus Cos. (Original lands in Meck. Co. before Cab. Co. formed). Wife's name not known. Parents not known. His children were: Margaret, m. John MORRISON; Samuel m.Eleanor KIRKPATRICK; Mary (Polly); Alexander m. Margaret MCLARTY;Elizabeth; another daughter not named. Alexander was my ancestor. He and wife died in Mississippi ca 1865. Will exchange what information I have, but have hit a "brick wall" identifying William's parents and his wife's name. She was not mentioned in will, so evidently died prior to 1804 when will was dated.
