My ggg-grandmother, Nancy Bentley FISHER, was a dau of Moses BENTLEY. Family notes say that Nancy Bentley and her husband Henry Fisher moved from Hickory or Granite Falls, NC to Walker Co, GA some time between 1834 and 1840. (They were married in Burke Co., NC in Oct 1820. I suppose this is Burke Co as it now exists.) I got the following information about Moses Bentley from the WorldConnect. I don't know much about the area mentioned below, but hope that some of you may be able to pinpoint the area being mentioned. In terms of todays county lines, where were Moses and his family living in 1794, 1800, 1820, and 1824?
