I am looking for the parents and ancestors of Daniel Webb. I found what I think was a belated birth record on the familyseach.org site. It had listed him as Dan Webb born abt. 1828 in Burke County, NC. His Spouse was Elizabeth Derreberry. I found him in the 1850 Cherokee County, NC census showing him at the age of 18, which would have made his birth year as 1832. He was living with Nancy Webb whose age was 61. These were the only two listed in the family. I found him in the 1860 Roane County Tennesee census with his wife Elizabeth and his children. His age was listed as 28 which would still show his birth year as 1832. Living with him was Nancy whose age was 71. I think Nancy is his mother. The census showed him as being born in North Carolina. Anyone with information would be of great help.
