How much Burke Co./Johnson family info do you have?

I have been suspicious for awhile that perphaps my Johnson lineage were Quakers, but can't prove it yet.

I haven't heard of "Quaker Meadows'..... but your message caught my attention!

'My" John Johnson was born June 1, 1790, somewhere in North Carolina. He married Sarah Barnes in October of 1810 in Burke Co., NC. Her ancestors for sure, were Quakers, and they were originally from Chester Co., PA.

My great-grandmother, Rachel Johnson, was a daughter of John. She did not have a sister named Margaret; however, I am wondering if they were related.

I saw Phillip Johnson's name on the 1820 census along with my Johnson's; I am suspicious they were closely related,as they appeared to be living close by, and in the same township.

Please tell me whatever info you have on this family. With the surname "Johnson" being so common, it has been very difficult for me to find anything on John's siblings and parentage.

Thanks in advance,
