GODFREY

Rebecca Godfrey, who married Morris Cobb before he came to Missouri early in the 1800s, was my great great great grandmother.
(I am 74 years old.) I have just seen on the Internet a note reporting that they married in Burke County, NC. Indeed it was known in the family that they made a less than direct migration West. And it also has been known that the family originated in Virginia. Some of the descendants of Ambrose went to Georgia and others went first to North Carolina and then on West.

My name is June Cobb. Whoever you are I would love to hear from you and perhaps ask you a few questions.
