Actually, Casper Cable did not live on Hazel Creek, Swain Co., NC. His descendants, children of his son Samuel Cable, lived there. My grandmother, Lettie Edith Myers, was born on Hazel Creek in 1902, and she was a direct descendant of Caper Cable. Casper lived first along the Uwharrie River, was this Randolph Co.? NC. He lived around Boone Co. NC before going to Dry Run, Carter Co. (now Johnson Co.) TN. He never left that area of TN.
