I am trying to figure out the relationship of a number of Day family Members who moved from Burke County Nc,to Claiborne County Tn, circa 1830-1850, Some of the names of the emigrants are:

C.M. Day. C.M.'s family was, Hannah Day(wife), Mary Day, Miles Day and Sally Day. According to the 1850 Claiborne Census, only C.M. Came from NC. The family he aquired in TN.

Caswell Day with family, Narcissa Day(wife), Thomas W. Day, Rhoda M. Day, Martha A. Day, John Day and James Day.

Colbert Day with family, Jane Day(wife?), Elizabeth Day, George Day, Grace Day(Colberts Mother), Harret Day, Jackson Day, Pinkney Day and Waitsel A. Day

Enos Day with family, Rebecca Day(wife), Amos Day, Elizabeth Day, Enos Day jr., George Day, Ingram Day, Rebecca Day and William Day.

Noah Day with family, Sarah Day, Mary Day, John T. Day, Isabel Day and Andrew Day. I could not find a wife for Noah.

John Day with Sarah Day(wife?). Is John the patriarch of some of these persons. Some evidence shows that a man named Nicolas Day is the father of Colbert?

John was the 66 at the time of the 1850 census. C.M. was 32, Caswell was 38, Colbert was 40, Enos was 55 and Noah was 45.

Thanks in advance
Pat Reed
