Offhand, I know of no McKinneys in the Davenport line...not to say there were none, however. Crotia Davenport m Charles Kennedy of Louisa Co., VA and they were my gggggrandparents. This was the daughter of Martin Davenport and Dorothy Harrelson of New Kent, VA. Another dau, Dorothy Davenport, m Thomas Baker of Culpepper Co., VA. Their dau, Mary Baker, m Wiliam Mallory of Culpepper Co., VA. The daughter of Mary Baker and William Mallory, Dorothy Mallory, m Charles Kennedy, son of the above mentioned Charles Kennedy and Crotia Davenport. Dorothy Mallory and Charles Kennedy (2nd) were my ggggrandparents. They eventually moved from Pendleton, SC to Madiosn Co., AL where they lived until their deaths, Charles in 1819 and Dorothy in 1824. There is, I understand, a fair amount of info on the Davenports of Burke Co., NC but I have not yet researched it to any degree. I will, however, look thru what I have and see if I can find your McKinneys.
