Dear Debbie,
thank you so much for writing me about John H. Hines. I not sure if I explained why I'm interested in the Sgt. You see I am a reenactor with the 16th NC in Nortern New York. We try to find a soldier to do first person impressions of while we are in the camp. While looking through the regimental history I came across Sgt. Hines and for some reason he seemed to be the one for me. I hope your research pays off. Keep in touch. Thanks again Dallas
