William Sanford Cline is my Great Grandfather. I am granddaughter of Guy Remus Cline, one of his twin sons.. William Sanford Cline is the son of Peter M .Mull and Eliza Cline. He is not the son of AMBROSE CLINE as most of the family did believe. AMBROSE CLine died in the CIVIL WAR in VIRGINIA two full years before William Sanford Cline was born. It is understood from my reasearch although I am only speculating to the this point. Eliza Cline had no idea where her husband Ambrose Cline was , dead or alive and she gave her child her name at that time. She went on to marry and have more children.(but not to Peter M . Mull) Peter M Mull ws a decorated Civil War veteran and had no other children although he di marry ).I have bastard bond and also much information plus picture of WIlliam Sanford CLine(mull). I have bastard bond to prove from the ARCHIVE of HISTORY in RALEIGH NC that William Sanford Cline is son of stated parents. .
