Anybody familiar with William Blackstock Thompson b 1807 Iredell?

Married Jan 1840 NC to Jeanette Johnston from Anson Co (orig from SC)

1st 3 kids b 1842-1846 McDowell,

next 4 kids b 1850-1859 Macon Co

Since McDowell was formed in 1842 from Burke & Rutherford, & Wm & Jeanette had their first child in 1842, I'm wondering if Wm & Jeanette Thompson got married in Burke & were living in Burke Co in the 1830 & 1840s.

Anybody familiar with a Wm Thompson b 1807 in Burke in 1830s & 1840s?
