Jesse Hopkins and Alexander Hopkins in Burke County's 1810 Census

Does anyone have any reason to believe that the Jesse Hopkins found in the U.S. Census of 1810 and 1820 for Burke County, NC is yours? On the same page for the 1810 Census is my Alexander Hopkins b. btwn 1778-1784 Richmond, VA. Would anyone have a reason to think they might be related? Curiously, the only Hopkinses in Burke County in 1810 were just the two above mentioned. Doug
