I am searching for ancestor information re:
my great-great grandparents, Clemons Fair & his wife Anna Hoover Burke County, NC; and their son, my great-grandfather, Henry E. Fair and his wife Eveline McNeely. Clemons obituary was in the Morganton Herald, Morganton, NC, on Thursday, July 2, 1892. Anna Hoover Fair (Farr) died February 15, 1887. Clemons first name is listed in Burke County Census Records as Clem, Clemmons, Clemment, Clement. Name was originally Fair but in some census records recorded as Farr. Trying to find out his parents' names, immigration status, etc. Anna Hoover Fair (Farr) buried in Burke County but cannot find Clemons. Interested in finding any information re: Clemons & Anna Hoover Fair and Henry E. Fair & Eveline McNeely. Henry Fair died as a POW at Point Lookout Prison Camp in Maryland.
