James Pattison McGee

I am searching for information on James Pattison McGee
b. October 5, 1806/07 in Burke County, NC. He died January 4, 1898 in Cleburne County, Alabama. He was married to Martha Ellen Owens b. 1807 in (I think) NC.
His father, name I do not have, come from Ireland to fight in the Rev. War along with two brothers. One brother became ill before the ship arrived in America and died, but the other two fought for England in the war, they liked America so well they stayed. James was a Methodist circuit riding preacher in Alabama. The only other thing I know is that he was the 7th of his fathers children.Any information will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joy Turner
