Isaac P. Franklin and Malissa Ellen Williams

I am looking for information about Isaac P. Franklin (b. abt. 1854), son of Samuel Ausborn and Nancy Erwin Franklin and his wife, Malissa Ellen Williams (b. abt 1859), daughter of John A. and Margaret I. Williams. Isaac and Malissa Ellen were married 23 Feb. 1875 in Burke County, NC. I have a copy of their marriage license. I do not find them in the 1880 Burke County census. Isaac may have died before the 1880 census. I do not know when he died or where he is buried. In the 1880 Burke County census, I did find living with Margaret Williams, a daughter, Franklin, age 21 and a granddaughter, Isabella, age 3. Could this daughter be Malissa Ellen Franklin? She would have been 21 since on the 1870 Burke County census she was 11 and age 1 on the 1860 Burke County census. If Isaac did die, did Malissa Ellen remarry? Malissa Ellen Williams was the sister of Sarah Elizabeth Williams. Sarah married William Delbert Franklin, son of Levi and Barbara Franklin. Levi was the brother of Samuel Ausborn Franklin and they were the sons of Isaac Franklin who was the son of Samuel and Dorcus Franklin. Two daughters of William Delbert and Sarah Franklin, Hettie V. and Barbara Roanne married two sons of Samuel and Nancy Franklin, Abel Alexander and Samuel Marshall. I hope this isn't too confusing. I would love to share any information I have about these Williams and Franklin families. I am hoping that someone researching the Franklins or the Williams can help me. Thanks for ANY help or information. Susan D. Marks
