Seeking information about Alexander Davis, his wife and their family.
1850: Census information places "Alex" Davis, age 56, alone in Buncombe Co. (presumably alone because of death of Unk Spouse).
1860: Alexander Davis, age 67, is in Buncombe Co., NC household of daughter, Sarah Carpenter nee Davis Fore and her husband, Lewis Pierre Fore.
1870: Alexander Davis, age 78, still in Buncombe Co., NC household of daughter and son-in-law.
1880: No longer listed in the household of daughter, and son-in-law, so presumably died Betw. 1870-1880.
QUESTIONS:
1. What is the name of the wife of Alexander Davis, and what is their marriage date?
2. What are the birth/death dates of Alexander Davis and his Spouse?
3. Who, other than Sarah Carpenter Davis, were their children?
4. Who were the parents/ancestors of Alexander Davis?
5. Did Alexander Davis or ancestors migrate to Buncombe Co. from another location?
