Thank you for the information. I am descended from William Murry and Rachael Anderson who in the late 1790's and early 1800's lived in Buncombe County. My great great grandmother was Rosse Murry; she married Elisha Smith Powell (b. NC 1793) after the Murrys moved to Lincoln County, Tn. Do you know anything of the Murrays of Murrayville? Bob
