Looking for information on Brittain Lewis b. abt 1776 who married Delilah Gutherie.
The information I have so far:
Britain Lewis 1810 census for Fauquier Co. Virginia.
Brittain Lewis 1820 census for Buncombe Co. NC.
Delilah Lewis 1830 census for Buncombe Co. NC.
Their Children:
*Matthew H. Lewis b. abt 1798
Mary Ann "Polly" Lewis b. abt 1802
James Lewis b. abt 1804
Sampson Lewis b. abt 1807
William Lewis b. abt 1812
Anna Lewis b. abt 1810
Daughter unknown

I have lots of information on my Lewis line which starts with Brittain and carries through with *Matthew H. my ggggrandfather.
I have hit a brick wall with Brittain and Delilah.
In the 1880 Yancey Co. North Carolina census, show's
that *Matthew's father & mother were born in England.
I would be happy to share what I have so far.
