The Jupiter Cemetery I have mentioned is the same as the Jupiter Methodist Cemetery, only the church is not there any more. It was torn down sometime in the early 60's.
I have found Venette Hunter's grave and the dates on the stone are 1891-1971. Also a Hunter head stone and several footstones with just the first names and going from left to right is Carrie, Horace, Loarn, Robert, Kate, and then about 3 more before the edge of the old cemetery. As I went the foot stones were getting deeper and I had to dig a little bit to uncover Robert and Kate's. Elizabeth Jane Hunter married Rome Patton (the father of Cecil Patton and the nephew in James M obit) and dates on their head stone are Rome b 10-12-1880 d 3-2-1970 and Elizabeth b 4-30-1888 d 10-2-1964. Howard's grave is also in here and the dates are Howard 1903-1964 and Altha b 1910. Altha "sis" is still alive. William Grady Hunter is in the Riceville Presbyterian Church Cemetery. On his head stone the dates 1897-1956. Alma B. (Banks)1908- and no dod. Next to Grady is Frank Hunter b 6-27-38 d 6-25-39 and Robert James Hunter sgt us army b 10-31-32 d 5-21-69 (refer the posting by Kathy Phillips). Other graves found in the Jupiter Cemetery are Rebecca J Guthrie w/o W H Guthris, the boarder in the 1880 census. The dates are 7-2-1831 and 2-21-1907 and Rome Hunter, the witness to the marriage. Rome is short for Jerome The headstone reads Alexander Jerome b 4-18-1882 d 6-27-1940 and Bonnie K Watkins b 5-4-1897 d 2-21-1959. They once owned and operated a small country store in the corner of Jupiter and Eller Ford Roads.
