Thanks for the information on the census reports. I haven't got that far in my research yet.
The first thing that caught my eye was the name Martha and recalling the name Martha White on the obituary that you sent me, "F E White, representing his mother Mother White." To the left of Wm and Betty Hunter's grave is a Martha White, wife of R V White 1858-1894. The dates and ages corresponds with the census report.
Back to the cemetery.
From James and Letitia's grave and going to their left is their granddaughter and my mother Johnnie Louise Brown, then Wm and Betty Hunter, then Martha White. Many headstones aren't very readable or are no longer there and right now I don't see a Kilpatrick stone. There is a Jupiter Cemetery Assosiation but I don't know what kind of records that they have. I try to find out.
I spoke briefly with my aunt last Friday. She confirmed that the grave of Wm and Betty Hunter is James's parents. Also she referred to Robert as uncle Bob. She spoke about Mary Elizabeth (Betty) and where she grew up at. It's near Flat Creek School and the house is still standing and in great shape. I have never heard of a Cherokee connection and I didn't get a chance to ask because of unexpected company.
I like to know more about Harriet and Thomas such as children and when did they move to TN, etc.
