Mr. Harkins,
I am really hoping that you can help me. I am looking for Any information on my Great Grand father Alex Wright. I have tried everything. I think he died around 1895-1900. Can you please tell me where to get this book that Mr Bruce Witakeer wrote? I actually talked to Mr Witaker about two years ago but wasn't sure if this was my line or not. I am still not sure but it may be all I have to go on. I guess you can say that Alex Wright and his wife Emiline Thorpe are my brink wall. I do have a copy of thier marriage in Cock County Tenn but after that it is a dead end. They where supposed to have move to NC. I have a copy of the 1900 census in Madisin County NC that list Emiline as a widow with almost all of her kids listed living with her. My grandfather was 5 years old then. His name was Noah. It has them listed as Indian, if that helps at all. So I guess that family story was true. ANYTHING you could tell me would be great. I have been looking for Alex a very long time. Thank you for your help, sincerely Kim Knapp
