I'm looking for information on the families of Benjamin DAVIS and Ruth HIPPS. Benjamin was born in April of 1828 somewhere in NC (the son of William DAVIS and Anna CROSS), and Ruth was born in 1832. They were married on Aug. 9, 1847, in Buncombe County. A son, William Riley DAVIS, was born Sept. 15, 1852. Benjamin died Oct. 6, 1901, and Ruth died Nov. 15, 1900, in Sevier County, TN.

Any help on the DAVIS and HIPPS family would be greatly appreciated.
